River Oaks Golf Club
Spray Technician and Irrigation Technician Position
River Oaks is a privately owned golf club located in Grand Island NY designed by Desmond Muirhead in 1972. We are currently looking for a Spray Technician and an Irrigation Technician for the 2022 season and beyond.
Overview
The Technicians will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent. The Technicians will execute all daily tasks and help with grounds maintenance after duties.
Essential Functions
Ability to diagnose all irrigation problems to obtain a functioning system.
Ability to identify all turf diseases with the intent to cure.
Must be able to drive and operate all ground sprayers, walk spreaders, and any forms of heavy equipment to load and drive material.
Ability to order materials and fulfill each task in a timely manner
Requirements
Golf Course experience preferred
NYS Pesticide license required.
Irrigation background is a must with at least 2 years experience.
Benefits and Salary
$20-24 per hour depending on experience.
