Teugega Country Club is an 18 hole, private, 1921 Donald Ross designed course. Teugega is often regarded as a Ross hidden gem, and was ranked #177 in Golfweek's Best Classic Designs in 2020. Teugega has not been significantly changed or altered in the last 100 years, however, over the past 15 years, the club has committed to restoring the course to Donald Ross’ original design. There are numerous projects slated for this spring including restoring 11 original bunkers, as well as drainage and tee construction projects. Teugega Country Club will celebrate our Centennial Celebration on July 4th of this year, as well as, host the NYSGA Women’s Amateur tournament the same week as our Centennial. The Club is committed to preserving our future by restoring this wonderful golf course.
Assistant Superintendent
Teugega Country Club is looking for an individual that will be involved in all aspects of the golf course maintenance and contribute to the management team. The job will include, but not limited to, daily job delegation, management of the crew, chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation repairs, water management, and general course maintenance.
Requirements
2 year degree/certificate in turfgrass management or related field. Or minimum of 2 years working experience on golf course in a management capacity.
Salary
$16-$17/hr. This is a full time year round position.
