    Mill Creek Golf Club

    Assistant in Training

    About the Course:

Mill Creek Golf Club opened in 2004 on rolling farm land in Churchville NY, just west of Rochester. The course sits on the highest point in Monroe County, where from the first and tenth tee you can see the Rochester City skyline. We are a public course with a strong and growing membership that takes a lot of pride in their course. The club has been a popular spot for weddings with the dramatic views in the distance, we recently renovated the wedding site to accommodate bigger weddings and provide even better views. The clubhouse has also undergone a renovation after a fire damaged part of the building. With more improvements planned, this will only enhance the off-course experience for our members and customers.

The course was designed by Raymond Hearn Golf Design as a links style course with wide fairways and plenty of native fescue areas that sits on 310 acres. The property consists of an 18-hole championship golf course that plays 7000 yards from the back tees, and a large practice facility. In 2016 the club was purchased by Gallea Golf Properties, which has made a commitment to improving the course, the facility and equipment. In 2019, the pumphouse was refurbished with new pumps along with upgrading the central control for the irrigation system. Also in 2019, the first phase of our bunker renovation took place, replacing 10 of our poorest bunkers, with plans to continue to renovate and improve the bunkers over the next several years. In 2021, we made a commitment to expand our native areas (especially around tee box complexes) to reduce mowing and be more environmentally friendly.
