Olivet University Golf Course is located in the foothills of the Berkshires at Wingdale, NY. Donald Ross designed our Challenging 18 Hole golf course in 1928.

Superintendent Primary Duties:

• ·       Oversees the care and maintenance of the turf, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees, and wetlands on the facility grounds and works together with a small crew of staff
• ·       Supervises and participates in the application and recording of chemical applications (fertilizers and pesticides) on the club's grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• ·       Develops annual operating budget and plans for maintenance and capital improvement projects,
• ·       Maintains records of annual maintenance activities and completes required reporting.
• ·       Orders supplies and materials within budgetary limitations
• ·       Coordinates snow removal and winter maintenance activities when necessary
• ·       Possesses good working knowledge of golf rules, the game, and methods of play

Knowledge & Skills Required:

Three years of experience as Golf Superintendent or 1st Assistant or Spray Tech

Pesticide Applicators license

Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 plus per annual depends on experience and qualifications
