Assistant Superintendent Job

This position oversees and is in involved in all aspects of golf course management.
- Assists in planning, scheduling, instructing, training, and directing team in performance of procedures and job responsibilities.
- Involved in all chemical and fertilizer applications.
- Communicates with Superintendent, co-workers, and members on daily activities in a professional manner.
- Performs and manages daily tasks as efficient as possible with attention to detail.
- Involved in all irrigation use, repair, and installation.
- Advises Superintendent on constant changes in conditions on the golf course.
- Must be a Initiative-taker and have team leadership skills.
- Golf course experience a must.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a challenging environment.
- New irrigation system installation 2023
Education:
2–4-year turf degree
NYS pesticide license or will need to obtain within 90 days of hiring.
