Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan NY is in search of a golf course mechanic.  We are an 18 hole, busy semi-private course overlooking Keuka Lake. As part of our efforts to continue to improve our club, a new shop with a lift was constructed in 2021.  Our season runs approximately from mid March to mid November.

Responsibilities and requirements:

•        Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems as well as gasoline and diesel small engines.

•        Preventive maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all equipment, including reel mowers, rotary mowers, tractors, and maintenance vehicles.

•        Regular service and lubrication of equipment.

•        Maintain sharp and well adjusted cutting units at all times, including reel and bedknife grinding.

•        Periodic golf course maintenance as required.

•        Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

•        Maintain a clean and organized shop.

Willing to train the right individual.  Wages are competitive and dependent on experience.  We offer health insurance, paid GCSAA membership, a Simple-IRA with a 3% company match, meals in season and golfing privileges.
