    Pendleton Creek Golf Club

    Formed in 2021, Pendleton Creek Golf Club and Pub began a rebuilding process to become a premier golf location in the Northtowns and strengthening its ties to the local communities. The new owners, all residents, and golfers, have invested steadily in improving every aspect of the club.  Providing high quality service and golf experience is the mantra all team members must practice. 

    Our golf course superintendent is crucial to ensuring our golfing members and their guests have positive experiences.  This role will take the lead in continually improving the course.

    Job Overview:

    This is a full-time year-round salaried position.  The Golf Course Superintendent works to create an environment where the staff is involved and enthusiastic, has open communications and respect for themselves, members, guests, and the property. This position reports directly to the ownership group.

    Responsible for all phases of golf course maintenance and agronomic operations. Including but not limited to:

    • Turf grass/plant material maintenance programs and pesticide applications

    • Property/asset management

    • Personnel management

    • Budgeting and financial management

    • Member relations

    • Compliance with regulatory and permit requirements

    Primary Duties:

    • Oversees the care and maintenance of the golf course grounds and course equipment.

    • Recruits, schedules, trains, supervises, evaluates, and retains personnel while fostering a "continuous improvement" work-culture - emphasizing quality, member-service and efficiency.

    • Provides technical, operational and safety training to ensure that staff are working in safe conditions.

    • Ensures that chemicals and other controlled products are used, stored, and disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations; maintains required records.

    • Plans and budgets for additional or replacement capital equipment.

    • Supervises and participates in the application and recording of chemical applications on the grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

    • Supervises and controls all maintenance expenses.

    • Determines when course should be closed due to weather conditions that may damage the course if play continues.

    • Coordinates applicable work with outside contractors.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Golf Superintendent or 1st Assistant

    • 2-year Degree or Certificate in Turf Management (or related field, like agronomy, horticulture, plant science, soil science)

    • Valid Driver's License

    • Pesticide Application License

    Compensation:

    Pendleton Creek Golf Club and Pub offers competitive pay and benefit packages. The ownership routinely benchmarks compensation levels to ensure they remain competitive.

    • The Superintendent position’s compensation will depend on experience in the industry with a range of $70,000 - $80,000
