Start or further your career in the equipment industry by joining our team here at MTE as an On the Road Sales Representative. MTE is a growing, family owned, equipment supplier in the Northeast. MTE is seeking multiple individuals to fill new sales positions at our company.
MTE has recently signed with Husqvarna as their exclusive dealer of Robotic Mowing products for golf and sport turf Facilities in the Northeast. A primary focus of these positions will be bringing this new technology to the marketplace. This will involve prospecting, demonstrating, and working with customers through installations of their new GPS guided robotic mowers. Demand is high for this revolutionary product, applicants must have previous golf course maintenance experience so that we can hit the ground running.
In addition to robotic mowing, representatives will be responsible for promoting and supporting the various other equipment brands that we offer. This includes Jacobsen Turf Equipment, Giant Loaders, Ventrac Tractors, Cushman Vehicles, Smithco Turf equipment and other allied lines.
Training for various products is provided by the company.

Responsibilities
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and generate leads
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis
• Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to prospects
• Negotiate and close sales deals with customers
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management Requirements
• Proven experience in the Golf/Turf Equipment Industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• Proficiency in MS Office

Compensation:
• Pay: Starting at $80,000 per year, no cap on commissions. Base is negotiable commensurate with experience.
