Position Summary

Elmira Country Club is seeking a motivated, experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead all agronomic and grounds operations. The Superintendent will report directly to club leadership and be responsible for delivering high-quality playing conditions while maintaining fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive golf course maintenance experience

• Valid New York State Pesticide Applicator License (Required)

• Strong background in cool-season turfgrass management

• Experience with irrigation system operation and water management

• Demonstrated leadership and staff development ability

• Budget development and cost-control experience

• Strong communication skills with club leadership and membership

Compensation

$90,000 – $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.  Chapter Dues paid by Club.  Benefits negotiable based on qualifications
